They pretty much prioritized people who were gonna favorably review teh game like windowscentral who got it a month early during the previews

The funny thing is I was going to make the metric thread yesterday evening when I saw them tweet about it
But I didn't have time and forgot later, it just so happen the Halo reviews dropped this morning. So I posted both threads while I was posting.
But y'all got it
I made a thread on fps metacritic a few months ago. Perfect Dark, Metroid Prime, n Halo:CE were tied for 1st among FPS games.
Best FPS ratings according to Metacritic
now I myself dont use metacritic to determine whether I like a game or not, but I understand a lot of people do.

Personally, I don't take the pre-mass-release reviews with much salt. Happens a bunch here and with movies where the critics will get it wrong, better or worse.
Yes, lets compare a platformer to an FPS. Funny enough so far both have the same metacritic score. What an ironic post.
