One of the few things that could bring all of wrestling fandom together was shytting on Kevin Dunn and hoping he'd leave WWE. I'm glad as fukk he truly was the problem with the company's presentation.
It's jarring now to see the amount of camera cuts in clips from a few years ago, I don't know how anyone ever watched that shyt without getting motion sickness.
They also tend to use the 8k camera during big time championship match introductions.
True, but really i’m also crediting the lighting of the crowd, the zoom, etc during the entrance
Yeah I was stating it didn't just start with this event but it definitely has improved since they started using it in 2021, likely due to Dunn no longer being there.True, but really i’m also crediting the lighting of the crowd, the zoom, etc during the entrance
My only real beef is sometimes they rely on these cool new shots so much that it feels more scripted than it needs to be. Just dial it back a lil notchAgreed. The 8K thing has been done in other sports as well but the production team at WWE took it a step further and I especially love the way they are utilizing these tracking shots lately, as a big Scorsese fan, it's great to see them incorporating real film techniques.
The head of production came over from ESPN and it's interesting because ESPN's production of late has been complete ass aside from a select few events.
More examples even tho Dunn was still in charge of production.
Randy here looks anorexic compared to Randy now
