There’s a few ways around this. You can press the person to take it off, it they don’t then again prayer specially for spiritual warfare psalm 91 and 121 and some other prayers I know that I can send the link. Last one which isn’t recommended is getting some get back and hiring a shaman or something to counter it or root back.

I found a weird jar filled with liquid and ripped pieces of paper in my room once. I don't believe in any of it but the fact someone tried is a bit offensive.
I remember when i was little my uncle, bless his heart was just anxious and depressed. Then my family stupidly had all kinds of spiritual idiots come and do weird shyt. That just made him paranoid and convinced some otherworldly shyt was after him. It only got worse for him.
If you wan't to help your family get them therapy and make them feel supported. Try to work to improve their mind state.
Every culture has these people swearing up and down they have powers. All of them live like bums though. Can't use the powers to help themselves. Only rich ones are the ones pimping their congregation for offerings. The only power they have is the power of suggestion.
