Has anyone taken anatomy & physiology or human anatomy?

I’m taking it now along with medical microbiology. Medical microbiology is going fine I got an A. I got a damn 75% in anatomy shyt hard asl !! I decided to take it online because I didn’t want to stay on campus all day and because I thought online would be easier. But got damn !! First day of class in da syllabus our professor talmbout “this class is not any easier because it’s online” and she was right our first exam was 77 questions no multiple choice and u couldn’t just type the question in to ChatGPT to get da answers. I want atleast a B in dis class so I can get into nursing school. I still got time my first exam I got a 74 next exam is next Tuesday im trying. Any tips?

All our exams are open book and notes but these questions too damn hard !

I took A&P 1 and 2 in undergrad and an A&P course in grad school. What parts are you struggling with?
If it’s with origins and insertions try working out so you know what muscles are working.
A lot of other things have acronyms and mnemonics to make things easier to memorize.

I took A&P 1 & 2 and not sound cliche but I really used a lot of flash cards.

I also would start by just answering the questions in the book first and working my way back.

Edit: I drew the organs a lot as well.

I took in college years ago, in person. Normally the professor would grade on a curve due to difficulty.....my 56 would've been a C.

But everybody cheated so she graded normally. That little girl played us thinking we passed at first. And the fukked up part was I didn't even know them cacs were cheating. They were writing notes on the body parts and displays or passing notes. I didnt get in on any of that shyt.

For the origins and insertions I made a table of all the muscles in the unit(and we had a table in the book) so for the exam I’m just going to refer bacc to da table but I gotta get the muscle right,

I would post screenshots of the lab quiz but we’re not suppose too and sum petty Coli breh could find and report me. But like they asked which muscle it was on the forearm and sometimes I can’t tell if it’s talking about a deep or superficial muscle so I get it wrong even tho I have my lab manual labeled with all the muscles using the textbook and videos provided

It gets a lot harder so get it together, this should be a toss up in your nursing school journey

It’s pure memorization. Utilize mnemonics and old text questions until you’re ready to vomit.

I got As in A&P 1 and 2 there are websites like purposegames where you can search anatomy related games to help study and Quizletts has flashcards you can play on your phone as well during downtime.

It was a real check for you. Study more. Anatomy is a book and pictures telling you what to memorize. Not like you gotta use your brain to calculate anything. Just visualize and memorize my nikka, you got this.

You arent too far in the semester by February. If you are already getting Cs, its not going to get better before the final. I encourage you to be goal oriented and strategic about getting that gpa by any means to get into the program.

Id highly reccomend withdrawing and taking that single course at an easier institution or within the same institution with a better teacher that will let you float. A W-grade won't affect your gpa as badlly as that C- or D will.


If you insist on doing every single course at the same institution, then you can take this entire semester to prestudy so that you can at least guarantee yourself a B by fall or Summer due to the extra time with the material. This is what i mean about being strategic.
