They're still around but not nearly as much as last year. 90% of the time I'm only seeing dead ones. There's little kids in my neighborhood that come outside with fly swatters putting in work

Last year if you saw them you could step on them easy. I've been noticing that some of them will jump out of the way. I'm wondering if the ones that dodge have a genetic trait and they're going to get harder to kill because of natural selection.
