@Giselle listen to me , I worked at Carsons in Orland. It is hell!!!! They don't care if you have a life outside the store. It really gets bad around thanksgiving & Christmas time. The discounts are not work putting up with the manegment or the customers. They both will try you. Isk if it's any better at Macy's but... This is from what I know working at Crap-sons. You're a smart college student search indeed & find clerical work

When I was going to school I worked at a Sun Harvest. It was pretty cool actually. I worked in the meat dept. Became a butchers in training after a couple weeks. The pay was shyt but you couldn't tell by looking at my fridge/freezer. I had that bytch full of nice cuts of rib eyes t bones, the finest deli meats and cheeses. :blessed: Plus one of the butchers I worked with would lend me his 30% employee discount card for everything in the store so I got vitamins, protein powder, vegetables pretty cheap. Sometimes I think of applying part time just for the perks.

I worked middle to upper-end retail when I was in college at Caesars Palace Forum Shops on the Strip in Vegas.

Commission was shyt and traffic tended to be low so I spent most of my time avoiding work, downing shots on my lunch break, and smashing hoes that I worked with :yeshrug:

Almost got fired once when my manager found me and this one girl in the stockroom in the back. Fortunately our clothes weren't off yet, so we just got sent home :ehh:

I was mostly concerned with word getting out and all the other bytches I was smashing there figuring out I ain't shyt, not getting fired :mjlol:

I say all this to tell you: Don't take a job like that too seriously. It's not going to be your career so try to work at a place where folks your age work and enjoy the social aspect of it. Jobs in the real world aren't carefree with little real work and no consequences and responsibility, so have fun :salute:
