i had a double hernia and it completely crippled me, like i couldn't nut without blacking out from pain (hurt WAY more than when i broke my back). you'll be aight, i thought the surgery would take me out for a minute but i was totally pain/swelling free in like 2 days and back to normal activity in a week. they didn't cut me open tho, they did the version where they went in thru my belly button with a laparoscope. actually the thing i remember most is i brought a form to the pre-op consult for disabled parking plates on some "i've been reading horror stories online, could you please sign this
" and the surgeon laughed at me and said no cause there's basically no chance of having an outcome that bad.
You will be sore for a couple of days. Going to suck if you have to poop because you really can't use your large intestines to move the bowels. Was able to move around somewhat comfortability about a week after surgery. Felt normal again after 4-6 weeks.Damn, my doctor told me I have an inguinal hernia
