Some other issues....will it be hard for Verizon Wireless to change my country and number to a Canadian one? Anyone know about their Vancouver coverage?

Also I lease a car in the states and will have it for 2.5 years. Can I just bring my car up there or do I need to do a bunch of paperwork at the Canadian DMV? Does my American insurance cover me in Canada or would I need to get a new policy?

I feel ya breh that's one of the reasons I'm picking Vancouver. It's a coastal city so it stay warmer than most of Canada. I lived in NYC for a couple years and grew up in Indiana so I'm some what adjusted to the cold. But going from Miami to Canada now will probably be a shell shock to my body haha

No wonder you wanna leave America..

Miami has and always will be garbage for careers..

What is your ethnicity?

Im white(Greek), but yea man Miami sucks in general. I live in Wynwood (similair to brooklyns Williamsburg a couple years back) and it's transitioning to be the hipster/creative center of the city, but I live in a neighborhood surrounded by low income families; everytime I go outside I feel like I'm in a third world Latin America country.

I have been moving back and forth from America/Canada since I was a teenager... mom lives in Vancouver, dad in Houston... dual citizenship :takedat:

There is hardly any difference between the two countries in terms of lifestyle... not a hard transition at all.
