Has anyone else here seen a horror movie called A Serbian Film? I refuse to watch that shyt again..

Really didn’t come away with anything good from this flick. Explanation of Serbian politics etc seemed contrived and I couldn’t relate even so.
Yeah, that explanation was bullshyt. You can show depravity and the horrors of humanity without glorifying rape, pedophilia, and violence.
You want a GREAT movie that has done hard to watch violence, despicable characters, and an actual message? Go watch the Nightingale by Jennifer Kent.

Wow.. watched the review posted..
But the ending was a complete 180 from the rest of the movie.
I was already too bored and annoyed by the movie for the last 20-25 minutes to really get to me. I get how it could be hard to watch for some but compared to I Spit On Your Grace or Irreversible, it really didn’t do anything.
shyt, I’ve been watching trash exploitation movies from the 80s so movie rapes barely do anything to me unless it actually meant something to the movie rather than just being shock. It’s why Irreversible was so hard to watch.
It’s not really a good movie, breh. Not even because I’m some super squeamish dude or it’s just so out there, it’s just a bad movie with boring ass characters that happens to be shock scene followed by shock scene.

Ex-pornstar dad, that’s known for his dikk and stroke game, is really poor but has a loving family (Wife and son). He has this brother that’s kinda jealous of him.
Well, porn star gets offered a job by some super avant porn director and some good money so he’s desperate and takes it. Long story short, he wakes up in a weird room with no memories of the past couple days but some film reels.
They pumped the dad full of drugs that is like super meth, viagra, and steroids that makes you violent and are filming pretty much snuff films that get worse the more he watches. Getting head from youngish looking chicks whose mom’s sell them into porn and then the stuff that I mentioned earlier.
After dad tries to escape and get out of the situation, he’s hit with more drugs that leads him to raping his wife and son then you find out his brother set him up because he was jealous. Dad goes crazy and kills one dude by jamming his erect dikk into his empty eye socket, wife beats the brother over the head with like a trophy, and other people are killed brutally in the violence too. Dad and mom decide that they should just off themselves and their child because it’s too far gone (Child is literally comatose because the drugs make you screw like a savage and remember, dad is known for the size of his package so the kid is bleeding profusely) which they do.
Ending scene is a couple of faceless dudes walking into the room with the dead family, taking off his pants and saying “fukk the little corpse”, as in the dead boy.
It’s probably been like 8 years since I’ve seen this so I’m probably missing some stuff and getting a couple of minor details wrong but that’s about the gist of the movie.
It’s not a fun watch. Its not entertaining. The gore doesn’t mean anything outside of being shocking. It has NOTHING TO OFFER ANYONE as a film or art.
It’s not even interesting OUTSIDE of the shock scenes. After you watch it the first time and it shows it’s hand, it’s just a goddamn chore. I watched it twice (I do this with all movies, no matter how much I hate them) to see if it said ANYTHING interesting and it has NOTHING, outside of just making you feel dirty for even giving it the time of day.
The birthday candle/video scene made me laugh!!
