Has anyone else had a bigger fall off than Braun?

Pinned Cena and CM Punk clean in back to back weeks. I even made a thread detailing it lol, just can’t find it on here
Yeah I remember that shyt
I knew it was a HUGE deal since nobody beat cena yet alone clean

Plus he beat Punk too that was legit

I liked the Tensai gimmick they just made it corny

Jinder.

Not to say he should be in the world title picture again, but he should at least be somebody the young babyface beats to gain credibility.

"Apollo Crews has just pinned a former world champion! :ooh:"

Lol that Tensai shyt...they bring him back based on the strength of his NJ run (which people didn't see, NJ was in a death spiral when he was at his hottest, their shows weren't popular in Japan, they weren't popular online in the West, no one gave a shyt at that time), bring him back ignoring his history even though he hadn't even been gone that long, then pretended he maybe was Japanese when he came back...at the very least he was a weeb who thought he was a samurai, yet his accoutrements and facial hair were Chinese/Mongolian instead of Japanese. I think it was only about a month in a half before they cut down his name and entrance gear before jobbing him out.

Yeah, Matt Bloom did improve exponentially in Japan. He wasn't amazing, but he had enough to where if he was used right it could have been a good big man run. But they brought him back as a laughable caricature of a guy who came from Japan. shyt was goofy on night one. I wasn't even that annoyed because the writing was on the wall the moment they had him do that shyt. Didn't even matter who he beat.

As for Braun, at best he seems poised for a Big Show career. Which is enough to earn you respect down the line and a Hall of Fame spot. And a title run or two. Maybe. But there's gonna be a lot of goofy turns along the way. Getting nerfed randomly, then being super strong randomly. Over and over. And he'll probably be dressed up like a baby, or a leprechaun or an elf again a whole bunch more times. Because fukk it. You're a big man. If you look like shyt, you can just squash someone 2 weeks later and get all your heat back. Right? RIGHT. :troll:
I don't see Braun sticking around that long. Dude is known to be ignorant to the business and got checked by Karen Angle, this is just a gig to him that's why he's so keen to break character and dress up like an elf. He's already got his big country boy youtube channel and I'm sure if that takes off fast enough he's outta here.

Tensai actually did improve in Japan. The biggest problem was he came back to the WWE gaining more weight, and doing so many theatrics that is good for the Japan audience but translates terribly on WWE tv. Green mist? Fire? A claw based finisher in a year that’s not 1980? The WWE completely underestimating the fans’ long term memory remembering him as Albert and A-Train??? He was dead from the start :mjlol::mjlol:

It worked for Tajiri :francis:

Those saying Jinder are way off...Jinder was always viewed as a transitional champ ...Braun is worse because he was over enough to be either the biggest heel in the company or 2nd biggest face in the company and maybe even be the one to beat Lesnar. Jinder never was regarded like that, even as champ

Transitional champions don't hold the belt for like 7 months... if he was transitional, he'd have won it then passed it off to his next challenger. This MF had it longer than anybody that year except Brock.
