So, in 8th grade that Sisqo album was big for me, first girlfriends, discovering sexuality through music, and Sisqo album was drenched in it, "Got To Get It" was like a song I played everyday walking to school. Years later, that line is like borderline MeToo, I think about it everytime I play it, not to mention the simply dreadful third verse by some fat guy :deadmanny:
U got it confused with the album's title cut (yeah Beanie with some struggle lyrics for once), but who tf were those two guys on Got To Get It? Sounded like dollar store Ja Rules

Nah, that was a dud of a song though, that was in the throw Beanie Sigel of all people on sex tinged R&B, lets quote some of those lyrics, the guy on "Got To Get It" was some Asian fusion name, I believe, in the Dru Hill tradition. Edit: Make It Hot

lol

Yo I don't think y'all cats want Mac to release the dragon
Catch me in all black underneath your wagon
Plastique in the detonator
I can see you, and I see you on a respirator

Y'all cats all know how this one go
B-Mac rap guerrilla with the official flow
Any beef with my peeps then the pistols blow
I'mma lay back for now and let Sisqo flow

Classic to me personally......yes, but as a real piece of music, it's not very good. Maybe like 4 songs.

was listening to How Can I Love You Tonight this week, in like 7th grade, hearing Sisqo talk about "don't cum baby please wait for me"

That was the first I ever heard about anything like that lol

Kellz had an unstoppable run from albums to movie songs, I have to pick him over Sisqo on solo's.

This album wasn't even the best R&B album of 1999.

Facts.

Only online will you see dudes saying Sisqo has an album that can't be topped, lol. This sh*t was an average album with big singles, in a year where mad classic R&B albums dropped.

Jagged Edge, JE Heartbreak, for one. Better, consistent production. Cohesive. Just less sex lol

stayed up all late the day before 8th grade graduation, like if I just listen to this album all night, I'll see my little 8th grade crush/girl tomorrow and we will have some big romantic moment LOL

probably Donnell Jones too
