Nah, this hasn't been so much a forgettable season as much as it has been overshadowed by everything else in sports. The NBA playoffs were very good and LeBron winning a championship takes away all of the attention from the first months of the season, then there's the Olympics... and now football is right around the corner.

But there have been more than a few good stories from baseball this year, from a casual point of view (which I assume this thread is about). If you're a more than moderate baseball fan, then none of this shyt should really matter to you anyway.

This has been a good season so far.
The Yankees obviously going 'bout their business is always good.
Watching the Red Sox and Angels falter makes me :russ:
The A's and O's doing good has me like :leon: not bad for them
Love watching the Pirates succeed :obama:
Watching Stanton hitting bombs at a ridiculous pace is always awesome :myman:
Oh and the Mets tanking like always

Damn seeing where that dude Wells is and how high Trout is :whoo:

People already are trying to make the Trout - Mickey Mantle comparisons already. To me there's a better one out there. Mike Trout = the white Rickey Henderson.

If anything this has been the BEST baseball season in a long time. So many great young stars. Tons of great stories this year with the revitalization of historical franchises like the Pirates, Athletics, and Orioles

What the MLB needs to do is find a way to start marketing these young stars like Trout, McCuthen, etc.

Bud Selig needs to throw some bucks at Nike to hype up Trout; McCutchen, and Harper.

Air Trouts :lawd:
