More than 100 people in the film industry, including Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, Darren Aronofsky, and David Lynch signed a petition in 2009 calling for Polanski's release.[78][86][87] Harvey Weinstein also defended Polanski

I was reading more into it, the US has been actively trying to get Polanski extradited back here to arrest him for years but France and Poland [his 2 places of citizenship] won't do it.

Women are going to abandon ship when you start sinking. All those women weren't going to keep quiet forever. And of course there are ones who consented mixed in with actual victims because they want in on the 15 minutes of fame and possible payouts. fukking with women you work with is a dangerous game. Preying on them will be fatal eventually.

Really disappointing to see

She's likely talking about him being a well known a$$hole and bully, not him being serial harasser and rapist.

Enablers :hhh:

Every broad in Hollywood should be denouncing this dirty jew-boy right now. This is the problem with Hollywood and entertainment in general. People co-sign demonic behavior or reluctantly engage in it for the reward of getting 'put on' in some form or fashion. Disgusting:scusthov:

A revolution is about to start. The social media era gives no fukks about power.

Nah, the internet was very aware of Polanski and till this day, no one has done anything.

Bryan Singer's allegations were ignored...

Johnny Depp hitting on tweens, nothing.

Without evidence, things like this don't even go to trial, it all gets settled out of court...it sucks but that's the way it is. Plus Wienstein has too much clout for it hurt him that much. He must also know a lot of dudes who he could easily throw under the bus (Affleck included).

Idk her story is sketchy, we have to separate the ho's trying to get some publicity and the real victims....she said she got "orally raped"......:gucci: really? so you let a dude eat you out instead of walking away? See that story right there is hard to buy, even for a dollar. :comeon:
perhaps it's because i am a fan of her father, i dont know, im willing to believe her...

There's like a 99% change Rose McGowan was assaulted/abused. I remember being a kid watching Charmed in the morning whenever I'd skip school. Real nikkas remember it used to come on WB (i think) at 7am. She was this normal white broad then a few years later, she started doing all sorta weird crazy shyt. Thought she was coked out. Now we know it was probably to hide the pain and the disgust from selling herself out :wow:

Its hard man, Hollyweird is full of some very fukked people. Saying no to someone over say, lunch, or to a party they invited you to, could lead you either never getting a break, or being fired from a project, petty shyt is seen as egregious. Plus shes very vague about the whole thing. He didn't tie her up, drug her, etc. I can only think of one way a person can orally rape me...and if it doesn't involve ruffies or ropes, I can walk my ass very quickly away from that scenario.

Yep, expected from people in high positions of power. Doesn't matter if you're black, white, latino, etc. If you're in a business that can literally make Joe regularguy into "American's next sex symbol" and star in dozens of movies, you're going to be scummy. I expect no less. So when I hear about Oil Czars shytting on bytches and buying castles to have sex parties in, I'm not surprised...money makes this motherfukker go round, it sucks, but such is the way of the world.

To be fair, these bytches are vapid, no degree having thots who rather promote their bodies than their intelligence....act like a ho, and you're gonna get treated like one. None of these actors/actress are stable people. I used to work as roadie for several bands (back in the CBGB days) and learned first hand that a lot of these famous acts, are as broken and misguided as they come. Knew one chick who wanted to "blow her way to the top". Its so cringey on both sides.
i understand what you're saying but it doesnt really matter how willing they are or how successful they become, as a higher up person you can't do this type of stuff in exchange for money, positions or whatever favors no matter how common it is in the business. You are in a position of power and it will always ALWAYS be seen as abusing your power. It's similar to nurses sleeping with their patients, teachers with students, bosses asking for sex favors for promotions. It's illegal because the people feel obligated to engage or else they can't meet their needs. If you have position or power over someone, you have a responsibility to use your authority wisely and with respect. You cannot hint at threats "if you don't blow me you won't get this job". It's the same damn thing as it would be in an office. It's simply an abuse of power. if anything people should never do this because it makes them very vulnerable to lawsuits especially in America

Yeah but that casting couch has been alive since the movie business....correction; since needing to get in, was a thing. Girls still blow doormen to get into clubs, people still work off the books, and the casting couch will continue to exist. Its horrible but no one has really done anything to stop it....because if its as easy a blowing a fat jew, then you best believe some ho is gonna blow said fat Jew.

As for lawsuits...the biggest case was Polanski, he fled to France (even though he claimed he was not guilty) did small time probation, and went scott free. If there's no evidence, you really can't do much. Same thing happened with Singer raping a boy. It's all hearsay to many people who will come to his aid. People love suckling the power teat, because while money may be nice...knowing someone who can get you fame and power to come with it, is more appealing.
