A trend is beginning now where people are demonizing lawyers deciding to represent people who have supposedly already been trialed and convinced in the Media. What happened to innocent before PROVEN guilty or the right to FAIR representation in court. People don't think about the precedents being set with these actions, people don't think about where the rabbit hole they go down will end up.

Imagine the scenario of a young male Innocent of a crime he has already been tagged guilty of all over the media now unable to find a competent lawyer because they are worried of the damage it could do to their reputation or threats to their family. Imagine how easy it would be, in a world where such scenario could exist, for those in establishment to set up and convict certain people, certain groups of people they would love to see in prison. This world is full of fools. The majority of people in this world are fools, and I'm sure many would agree but we all believe individually we are not among the fools.

Did Harvard do this when Dershowitz was on the OJ team? Sullivan is a defense lawyer. He runs the public defender clinic for the school. Is the school going to limit what cases the students in that clinic can do?

We don't dump on defense lawyers for doing exactly what they're supposed to do...defend the accused, no matter how heinous their crimes.

That's how our whole justice system is supposed to work. Even Ted Bundy and Charles Manson had lawyers.

this doesn't have to be an imagined scenario. there are plenty of lawyers who refuse cases daily mostly because of money (this guy probably wouldn't have taken the case if it wasn't high profile to begin with). that is why there is a public defender lol

they aren't revoking their positions, and he isn't being "removed" as op wrote. they are letting him finish his contractual term but they aren't renewing it after that.
