Harry’s dad wasn’t a bytch. He was a jerk when he was a kid lol like most kids. But it also served to show that no house is “bad” and they’re all filled with people capable of bad things. Also people capable of good things

He was selfish, a bit of a coward (when he was young) and vindictive, he was only really good because Harry's mom got him in his feels. Even as an adult he still treated the kids like shyt and knowingly let his team screw them over. He even deserted Harry ('s mind) for a while when Harry accidentally got into his head.

Harry's dad was a jerk and a bully, but brave and fought for his friends. Gryffindor isn't for the nicest people, that would be Hufflepuff.

The houses are supposed to teach you how to use your existing character traits for good. It's just because of history/culture/traditions that Slytherin still ends up with the Dracos.

+like @MartyMcFly said the houses aren't indicative of whether you're a good person or not. One of Harry's kids gets into Slytherin as well.

Harry’s Dad ended up saving Snape’s life and sacrificing himself for both baby
Harry and Lilly when Voldemort came to
Kill them. That’s FAR from a bytch.

Yeah one of my best friends is a slytherin and she’s the sweetest and most giving person I know. But because she’s ambitious, resourceful, and cunning, and those are her strongest traits, she’s in slytherin.

The sorting hat places you based on desire but also what are your strongest traits not your only traits. Harry and hermione are both ambitious, resourceful, and cunning, but their bravery and heroism, nerve, and desire to bend the rules is stronger.
