I disagree , the book isnt flawed, she didnt want to say something that wasnt factual cause she knows people close to her or those that knew these people will read the book.the book is actually a legitimate good read. She would've been called out for falsifying. She was never challenged of the authenticity of the book.
Her book signings were supported of friends etc. People from that era and ties with people and families of those folks she discussed in the book. It's legit
She was a Chrissy Lampkin party dating hustlers type of girl but Chrissy was more alleged did dirt for them more deeper in that life. It's a cool book but the book on Fritz seems to be in my radar regarding "hood" harlem street life.
