I’m sure if you look into all of those SC justices and their history or even basic courts. you’ll see that they’ve accepted gifts or lobbyist bread in some way, shape or form. Those type of things happen in the political and legal world and only a naive person would believe otherwise. You don’t get into those type of positions with clean hands.Stop it. There needs to be some type of major address for corruption and outside influence in Washington. Not sure how you do that to the Supreme Court, given the Chief Justice doesn't give a fukk. However a lot can be done with congress. You should not be able to trade or sell stock while in congress, and if you're caught instructing a family member to make transactions on your behalf you should be heavily fined. AOC and Matt Gaetz introduced a bill to do this, we'll see if it gets passed. I doubt it.

That bill isn't going to go anywhere as Congress isn't going to pass anything that takes power out of their hands. It's hustling backwards. They won't even do anything about term limits even with someone current in the Senate that's been rumored to have dementia for a while now.
