i see this as a trade where neither team got better...
you don't see this as okc winnin cause you fail to see the bigger picture. folk are gass'd up off hardens 49% FG.... he aint gonna touch that this season. nd they got lamb plus they got TWO first round picks .... that toronto pick is top 3 protected ... so if they fall between 4 and 15 ... thunder will eat off that.... and they will eat off the dallas pick which is top 20 P as well..... not to mention kmarts contract expires this season too... it puts the thunder in great position.

They are gambling on whether Harden is really an all-star, and yes - it will take (most of) the pressure of Lin. Lin isn't a first option, but he would've been the biggest name before this deal.
