The final offer by the Oklahoma City Thunder to James Harden was a four-year, $54 million contract.

Harden could sign a max offer of $60 million over four seasons.

The Thunder agreed to trade Harden to the Rockets on Saturday.

All this over 6 million? Are you serious lol? What's 6 million more to Thunder when they already throwing 54 out there?

This is a GREAT deal for the Thunder. God damn I hate Presti. They have two great prospects that they can bring along in Jones and Lamb now. Martin can replace Harden's scoring. Imagine a lineup with Durant, Westbrook, and such a deadeye shooter in Martin. You'll miss some of Harden's playmaking but that was a bit overrated to me. Plus they get the two draft picks so they can stay young.

Presti is treating this shyt like it's NBA2K. Pay your stars and stay young around em.

Two lotto picks too from Dallas and toronto...they bout to reload AGAIN.

the Dallas pick is top 20 protected and the Raps should be good enough to stay in the playoff hunt all season :manny:

As crazy as it sounds right now..If i'm Houston I would rather have Jeremy Lamb and their picks rather than a maxed out James Harden.

OKC won IMO.

The drop off from Harden to Martin isn't that big of a deal.

And for anybody asking why do it now, better to do it now and get it out the way and give players a full season to learn each other. THunder still in title hunt. Doing this midseason leaves only half a season to acclimate in players plus can lessen trade value when they know the Thunder are desperate.

:smh: dude's acting like they dont still have a damn good lineup tho:heh:

the starting lineup is the same with a bench that now includes Jeremy Lamb, Perry Jones III, and now Kevin Martin. and there are STILL roster spots open.

let's just get this season started. fools acting like KD and Russ got traded.

they got a contending roster and picks to trade/build for the future.
