the rest of his albums are cool but ehh, these are the 5 that are undeniably great, at least to me, in that order. IWW is still the one I bump the most tho.

I think it's hard to determine that when something just came out.

People have this obsession with making an album objectively better. shyt changes all the time, day to day, year to year.

But for people saying this album doesn't have sick concept tracks must be listening to another album. shyt, two tracks, world is an addiction and stay, have clear concepts, but also go so far musically to barely have any drums. Just because its not going backwards or rapped from the perspective of an inanimate object doesn't mean its not a slick concept track.

^^^ my favorite thing about the album other than the soul feel is it isn't jam packed with "conceptual" songs. that is Nas's lane, he can do that all day, i'm glad he broke away somewhat and just reminded n!ggas that he could spit his ass off. illmatic wasn't really that conceptual either, just spittin, the subject matter is all kind of the same

You could because god's son was really good as well as untitled. I picked Untitled over it because its produced better and flows better as far as sequence.

Untitled is the more cohesive but I'd say God's Son has more standout tracks.
