Eh, not any links on me. Most stuff pertaining to genetics are going to tell you they were genetically mixed from Eurasians and sub-Saharan Africans but you gotta think, several dynasties ruled AE, one of that last being Ptolemy which is Greek. Cheikh Anta Diop in the 1960s developed a method to test the melanin volume levels in mummified or burnt corpses. He tested mummies from several time periods and the results showed all of the mummies to have extremely high levels of melanin only found in black Africans.

Hollywood still questions the race of ancient Egyptians even though science already proved it 5 decades ago. The definition of White excellence.

And Diop's melanin testing methods are still used today all over the world to help identify burnt corpses.

We know about Mali, Songhai, Punt, Kush/Nubia, Ghana, Zulu, Axum, Benin, etc. But Egypt was the Rome/Greece/Han China of Africa. Of course we focus on it. Besides West Africans came from East Africa. And like I said, Egypt has 5,000 years of history. Nile Valley civilizations even further. There are no other empires in Africa that date back that far. None.
