A definite turning point in the march toward freedom for Black people.
Crazy how I'm still not free. Campus cop pulled me over just last night with his hand on his side arm. I had to ask if it was okay to reach down and get my ID. Cause I was terrified that he would "feel threatened" and blast me. Was fine. It was dusk and my lights were off.
10 min later, after I made my run, on the way back home, I drove past him with someone else pulled over.
I was just going to the store. If I would have hiccuped at the wrong moment I might not have come home.
SOHH we not free yet. Being Black is still illegal.
