LMAO @ the double self-ethering by Jay-Z on the track 'Blueprint 2'. Jay not ONLY ethered himself through his own words (“but I will not lose, for even in defeat there's a valuable lesson learned, so it evens it up for me”), but ALSO through the use of music in this track...

The sample used for Blueprint 2 was taken from the soundtrack of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", composed by the great Ennio Morricone. In the scene from the movie that track was used in, “the ugly” (camel) is desperately looking for gold on a graveyard, but can’t find it and ultimately gets hanged bij “the good” (NaS)...

What's crazy bout the song is nas toying with jay for the 1st 2 verses and jay prolly felt in a good place but then the 3rd verse comes and its annahilation and slaughter and u can tell that's the point where bleek walked up to jay with no eye contact like "man, that shyt wasn't all that" but thinking in the back of his head "god damn he killed jay" lol

First time I heard Ether, I wanted to in the air on some Rambo tip. I couldn't believe Nas was spitting without mercy.
