Last night I got reminded of my membership in uglygang when one of the chicks I share the kitchen with referred to my homie and also kitchenmate as "the handsome one" when talking to her friend. Bare in mind there are only 3 guys using that kitchen (me, him and another guy). Had me feelin some type of way.

Handsome is very subjective when it comes to women. As long as your social and relatively fit, you can actually garner this reaction from a lot of women. You don’t need to look like a model or even be tall. Just “regular” with a sense of style (clean cut and fitting clothes) and personality can take you a very long way.

I’ve learned that while confidence is important, charm and charisma gets you better (quicker) results, and while confidence can be gained [through hard work], charm can be learned and practiced. And as a bonus, you gain confidence from learning how to be charming. Not trying to preach, but just some advice I wish I knew when I used to be Ugly Gang Special Lieutenant.
