nowhere in that video were the words "exclusive to xbox" uttered once....I did hear the words "television series" though....I'm betting that the xbox one will interact with the show in certain ways compared to someone watching it on showtime...

Remember all those promises at E3 when the xbox one would have an xbox exclusive halo series. if it's on cable it's not exclusive....

This sounds dope. What a mistake by XBOX to let this series go to Showtime, it was supposed to be their first original TV series. Anyways it'll be better on Showtime.

fam...quit while you still have some dignity...this series was NEVER announced to be exclusive to the xbox.....it was announced however as a partnership between Xbox, 343 and Spielberg and like I said the show will have sepcific features for the Xbox that viewers on showtime wont see..

The potential Showtime deal may explain why it has been somewhat slow going. According to Variety, "The deal with Showtime has taken a long time to work out because the sides are charting new territory for a show designed to air on Showtime as well as Xbox, with enhanced interactivity built in for the latter platform. Details are still being hammered out but sources say the plan is to have episodes bow on Showtime first, followed by the Xbox window."
