If this is true it proves the theory incorrect that they were waiting for CoD’s date. Call of Duty comes out the beginning of November, the 5th. You don’t need over a month to avoid it, especially when they most likely knew it was always gonna be a november release.

This sounds like cap. They know the game is coming in hot and they want as much time to finish as possible without moving it into 2022.

Nah, this theory doesn't really make sense.

Even if they knew CoD was coming in November, they still didn't know how late in November it'd be out. A month gives people enough time to do whatever they're going to do with CoD, and then be ready for something new.
