You guys make Series S sound like a Roku device or something.

And yes, The S was a badly designed proposition. The least they could have done was adhere to the marketing material, but you can't even have that. 3 console versions, across two generations, and you can only hold actual 1080p on the X variants in the last 9ish years for the most part.

The One X is not a really good experience at all. Theres huge graphical downgrades compared to next gen. The framerate is trash in both modes. Load times are over a minute longer.
Series S is more in line with the experience you would get on series X or PC just at a lower resolution.

That’s all the last gen stuff we complained about. shytty framerate and frame pacing. Long load times. Low graphical settings, draw distance, pop in.
Series S, solves all that. But somehow it shouldn’t exist and the one X is better cause Series S resolution is lower

Thats what i mean, they keep calling it a ‘next gen’ console but its more of a lateral move, its closer to a one x than a series x, and even falls short in a lot of the things the one x does.
