Preordering might be the wave
There might be so much hype for the PS5 it might sell out instantly whenever stores restock for a while after launch w/ the way MS is moving
There are going to be a bunch of new ps owners, ps4 owners, and xbots buying the PS5 this fall and for the foreseeable future as MS loses their fanbase to Sony

Its not just their gaming side. But all their entertainment products. With Xbox they got lucky because they took the LAST spot in the console market because the mainstream console market can not sustain anymore competitors. Which is why Google, Amazon and Apple never directly entered. But ever since MS joined for all these DECADES the Xbox has been third wheel.

First Half 2021 - Demon's Souls, Ratchet, Returnal, GT7 (if it can't make 2020)

Second Half 2021 - Horizon, Stray, Little Devil Inside, Solar Ash, Ghostwire Tokyo

combined w/ multiplatform games and free game upgrades

The PS5 might end up challenging the PS2 for being the GOAT Sony console if they can constantly release AAA exclusives every year like this schedule
This is only 2020 and 2021 so you know 2022 and the rest of the PS5's life cycle is going to be loaded
Combine that w/ a huge PS4 backlog, multiplatforms, and 3rd party exclusives

Ok, are you aware xbox has way more titles than what you named? The Sony exclusives, you hoping for horizon 2 by next holiday. Every other title was struggle city and one nikka had the audacity to say best first year ever

And then you said on top of that there's multiplats, how come you didn't say significantly inferior multiplats? The type of shyt that will have ppl going "oh hell nah " after digital foundry does what it do's. Now back to the xbox exclusives. The fact you just ignored it like it doesn't exist tells me you'll treat each game like it's no big deal.
