I love Geno, but they're not meant to win that many games this year even if Geno's on his game.
For the Jets to win 8 games with Geno playing well, we would need a Kellen Winslow career resurrection and at least 1 1000 yard receiving season from either Hill or Kerley. So much shyt needs to break right when they're at least a year away from having breakout campaigns from some of the youngins

I got Hill having somewhat of a breakout season. 800 yards, 6-7 TD's. As for Winslow and Braylon, I have no expectations for those two and is Holmes still on the PUP list. Kerley is a good slot WR. I really like Ivory especially behind a solid run blocking line which isn't New Orleans. I like their defense a lot. I think they will surprise a lot of teams. I like the Jets going into the year more than the Bills and Dolphins.

Defense is usually always a step ahead in the preseason than the offenses but the Dolphins look just as bad in both phases

I hope so, but it's a year too early. Factor in the schedule and even Idzik's low ass expectations, and you got a team that with a new batch of picks and freed up cap space can compete next year. Til then, the Jets' main focus is to trick Fez into going to Biogenesis so we can get him off the books quicker
