:scusthov:at those post up numbers for Dwight. I knew it was bad, but damn. I wonder if Mchale is gonna give him the :stopitslime: at some point if he's complaining about his post ups and show him his numbers or even some film. Tell his ass to work on that pick and roll with Harden or just crash the boards and be a double-double machine.

Naw this nikka was beasting the year Orlando went to the finals, which is why the Dwight of now is head scratching :mindblown:

Either Van Gundy or Kobe snatched this bytch nikka soul along the way

yeah, and the year after that when they played ATL in the 1st round, he was a monster.

He hasnt been the same since

Olajuwon sought advice from the coaching staff about how to increase his playing time, and they advised him to work out with local Houston resident and multiple NBA MVP winner, Moses Malone. Malone, who was then a center on the NBA's Houston Rockets, played games every off season with several NBA players at the Fonde Recreation Center. Olajuwon joined the workouts and went head to head with Malone in several games throughout the summer. Olajuwon credited this experience with rapidly improving his game: "The way Moses helped me is by being out there playing and allowing me to go against that level of competition. He was the best center in the NBA at the time, so I was trying to improve my game against the best."[6]

The bolded is the key part. I don't know why people think spending one week with Olajuwon would do anything. It's all about using moves you've learned against your mentor that'll help you learn them. While their play styles aren't too similar, Moses Malone I'm sure helped Hakeem out somewhat. That move at 3:00 on Kareem looked like Dream Shake lite.

He was better when he played to his strengths and using his instincts. Biggest detriment to his game is a lack of touch. (other than being mentally weak)

I honestly thought working with McHale (not Hakeem, because he's BEEN ripping nikkas off) would improve his game tremendously. But he just might be a bum on the offensive end. He's yet to compensate for losing some of his athleticism to that surgery

yeah, Dwight gonna wanna be a scorer even when he & everyone knows thats not strong suit
so all these people saying his moves not working or he's not effective in the post arent really getting anywhere

Howard has been in this league a few months shy of a decade. If he hasn't gotten it by now, he never will.

Dwight is just not smart. When you look at LeBron and many other players you see guys who came into the league with major flaws, but worked hard to make themselves better. Dwight is unwilling to put any work in because he's been playing basketball the same way since middle school: getting by on athleticism and size. He doesn't listen, he doesn't work hard, he has no heart.

Mark my words, if you think he's bad now just wait until he gets injured or older. Once the power goes, he's done.

The current NBA is fukking RIPE for a Hakeem type player who can dominate the paint with skill.
