Waze is great in congested area's and relatively big cities

However IMO when it comes to navigating rural/empty towns its straight and will send you over the hills & through the woods.

Waze only good when u in popular cities. Its trash when u in the middle of no where. Google gonna get u to where u need to be regardless of where u at. I use google maps over apple maps.

The only thing Waze has over Google Maps (IMO) is the users reporting police traps. Only use waze on long driving trips as a unofficial radar detector. Google Maps gets used everywhere else

yeah they bought Waze a minute ago. The police/speed trap info is clutch on top of Waze just being better overall.

Was gonna say the same thing. When I use to drive around in LA m it was helpful.

But I never tried it on a long trip

Waze was good for me then all of a sudden the shyt stopped using highway routes and got me traveling backstreets
