Had they not won a ring, whose legacy would’ve been looked at worse: Dirk or KG?

You know Steph Curry is the Daniel Bryan of the NBA :ohhh:

His chase towards his first NBA Championship made him and the Warriors the biggest baby faces in the NBA, but then the next title he got, he needed some help (like how Bryan cheated to beat AJ) and that turned him into one of the biggest heels in the NBA today, matter of fact, you could argue that the 2016 Finals was a double turn, LeBron was officially a babyface after winning the chip in Cleveland.

Who is the Bret Hart of the NBA? :jbhmm:

This might be the closest. Two Canadian superstars who got screwed over but were technical masters at their craft and now work for different territories that are experiencing newfound success. Bret with AEW and Nash as a player development consultant for the Golden State Warriors.

  1. During Steve Nash's first tenure with the Phoenix Suns, he was booed by his own fans. Just two seasons into his career, the future All-Star point guard was traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

Nash is now back with the team that drafted him and screwed him over through a combination of his willingness to be loyal to the organization and that same organization's hesitance to put top-notch players around him.

Whichever time with the Suns you look at, Nash has been screwed over.

That article is old apparently since he's not back with his original team as Bret isn't either.

Low key, KG could have been next and the face of the company if Vince wasn't :mjpls: I still remember that Honey Nut Cheerio ad being everywhere, but Vince cut his legs out from underneath him before the ball could really get rolling.

Literally a year later, KG was jobbing in the conference finals. Wasn't really the same after that because the fans moved on to Lebron,, who had turned heel but was actually buried by Dirk in 2011 when Dirk went over Bron, Bosh, AND Wade. CLEAN. :francis: Lebron was just over enough with the fans to overcome it and eventually captured the gold.

I dont think he ever got over it, though. It was bad booking and the brother still went on to be successful, but he clearly has a grudge. Him leaving Taker out to dry said more than words could. :pachaha:
