Breh, Concord projects are right by Roosevelt High School, ain't nothing but Vice Lords up in there, even had a rap group, Concord Affliated that rocked nothing but red.

My grandfather used to be the property manager at Concord Commons back in the day before it was Section 8. He said he knew it was time to quit when he had to take his gun with him just to collect rent. I rode up thru there a few times, shyt looks horrible.

And you right about the Vice Lords, pretty much the whole westside of Gary is VL. You not gonna see a Folk Nation gang in any real numbers until you head east and you get to the Hispanic parts of Hammond and East Chicago where the Latin Disciples are.

my dude was from Gary.

Mike, Tito and all of 'em were in Folks Nation.

I doubt that. First aint really no Folk gangs in Gary like that.
And second when Mike and Tito was in Gary the only gangs that was around was the Kangaroos, Terry Town Rangers and the Family. Them nikkas are old bruh, they was in Gary in the 50's and 60's, before that Folk and People shyt really even took off

Pretend to be lifelong fans of a notoriously berated public figure after he dies, brehs.

Been a fan my whole life, shyt more than a fan. I got family from the same streets and corners as the Jacksons, I got aunts and uncles who knew some of the older brothers before they blew up, got a 2nd cousin who used to work for him back when the media thought he was living over in the Middle East but that nikka was really living in suburban VA outside of DC.

MJ was nothing short of a genius, he used to go into a studio and master a new technique or machine in just a few hours that would take others a year to even just learn. My cousin told me that the way he sounded on TV wasn't even his real speaking voice, she heard his real speaking voice one day and she was shocked because he sounded like a regular dude. He crafted a lot of that on his own to make himself looked at as different, for whatever reason I dont know. But I do think that MJ was waaaaay ahead of his time, not even so much music wise, but really as a spiritual human being. He was not supposed to be on Earth when he was. Dude was so in touch with stuff in the metaphysical realm that us average folks can only begin to dream about. I think part of it was that he was just born with his 3rd eye open and his success and money in life enabled him to be able learn and see different things from all over the world. And I think he stumbled upon the truth somewhere along the way and it probably did make him a little crazy. MJ was the black Howard Hughes, he was already a curious soul by nature, and his money gave him the luxury of being able to finds out the truth, and when he did he didn't want to cross that line and become one of the "string pullers", so the powers that be made the rest of his life as close to a living hell as they could.

I was always a fan. :dwillhuh:

Even when they tried to slander him with those false accusations.
I'm sure there are a handful of real fans but there is no way everybody in this thread was "always a fan". Not with the way he was looked at prior to his death. People love to revise history to fit in after somebody passes, that's all I'm saying.

As big as people like Michael Jordan was in awe of Michael Jackson, that nikka was everything cool about anything, rolled into one. Ain't no one alive can go to places and people start crying to see this nikka. He was that dude.
c/s

He was bigger than Jesus. Jesus could go to some places in Asia, africa, backwoods of Siberia and they'd be like :yeshrug:

but MJ had people fainting in all corners of the world. He was the modern day Jesus, he used music to touch everyones soul rather than teachings. These sort of people only come around every millennium or so.
