I prefer Haagen-Dazs because they use all-natural ingredients. If you ever read the ingredients list on the side of a Haagen Daz carton you'll notice there are no more than 5-7 natural ingredients from the main source.

Ben & Jerry and many other brands tend to use a lot of artificial flavoring, high fructose corn syrup, cellulose gum, guar gum, and sodium benzoate among other things, to hide the fact they are skimming on butterfly/natural ingredients.

Most people don't care what's in their ice cream as long as they enjoy it and tastes good but ice cream shouldn't have all those extra additives overpowering the natural ingredients.

I've never been crazy about ice cream, but the best one I've ever had is the Oreos and Cake flavor from Baskin-Robbins. It was a limited edition so I got lucky, but it was . They need to bring it back immediately.
