“Nothing Even Matters” is my favorite duet of all time. I could play that song over and over again and it still sounds as amazing as it did when I first listened to it at the age of 8. I’d also love another duet from D’Angelo along the lines of that song. And H.E.R. would be another great match for him.
I am 100% with you, that is my favorite collab track and my favorite track on Lauren's album. Yea, he is long overdue for a another duet track. I agree about the match, they both can knock out some fire soul, with HER on her guitar and vocals and D on his keys and vocals. Nothing out now would come close to matching that.
All this being said, I am completely looking forward to HER's debut album.
Her debut album will be FIRE. Can’t wait! Anything is possible given that she is label mates with D’Angelo.
