Gym Gawds...Help me

Alright so I've been posting here and in the original fit forum since I found the site, but never posted a pic.

Back story I'm your common hard gaining ectomorph. 6'1 Long arms long legs.

Currently 190lbs 15% Caliper Measured

Overall goal is 190 10-12% so I have about 20lbs of muscle to go.

So, should I go ahead and cut Or keep on bulking? Original plan was to bulk through the year but I kinda wanna cut down.

Just cut...you got good mass.

agree with this, it would take much longer to continue bulking good mass than it would to just cut

bulking unless youre doing clean(which take alot more time) is gonna put on more fat

id just cut and be good to go by August(if youre diligent)

cut for what? you already have visible abs. what are your ultimate goals?

i say bulk up.

also...your body fat is less than 15 percent. calipers dont always tell the full story.

:yeshrug: I probably should have included pics of my legs but thats where a good portion of my size is. Theres a company that does hydrostatic testing in my area for free every now and then. I'm looking to catch the the next time.

You have a very good base. I would recomp

Thanks, I'll look into recomp.

Only reason I'm considering cutting is lose a little fat for sports performance gains.

it doesn't but most ppl don't do it correctly and definitely not the first time around.

if you lose weight too fast it will happen and you know its hard for a lot of ppl to be patient when they just want that extra weight to vanish.

and no hate, i hope one day your physique can somewhat compare to your health/fitness knowledge. you definitely have a solid foundation of understanding :cheers:

One quote to remember. Quickest way to look like you gained 10 pounds of muscle is to lose 10 pounds of fat.

This applies to you perfectly. If you cut you'll look bigger than you do. I don't get why you wanna bulk too much more anyways. I would stick with your range and just work on refining the symmetry.
