Not enough baby making music for me....but to each his own
It is a real good album tho![]()
I feel you. I can see how someone would say Jodeci's music was better and I fukks with Jodeci music to the core!
But man, Guy's 1st self titled album is my shyt.
I can dance (Groove Me), sing (I Like), slow dance (Goodbye), and make love (Piece of My Love) to this album. shyt is a masterpiece.
That sisqorandom question but who had the best ad-libs?
Kci Hailey- Ooooh Yeah
Micheal Jacskon- Shamon, you know it
Prince- Oooo op ( often mistaken from the Delta Sigma Theta chant)
Aaron Hall- Oh baby Oh Baby Oh baby
Charlie Wilson- Ooooh weeeee
Sisqo- yeahhhhhhhhh yeahhhh
Guy made straight party music with a few bedroom songs. Jodeci's first album was a New Jack Swing album, and the party songs are not as good as Guy's.

The back half (songs 6 through 13) of that Forever My Lady album is straight ass.....but the first 5 songs are classic
I like GUY better than Forever My Lady as a whole....but thats the only Jodeci album I prefer it over![]()
This thread is slowly becoming a Teddy Riley appreciation thread...so might as well do the honors. Teddy's best work imo
This track alone summarize R and B to the fullest. Melodies, chords, a reasonable temp, and soulful singing. It's crazy how MJ didn't hop on this track, but Levy manage to put the shyt to shame. Sad to hear such a voice not getting much recognition outside of Blackstreet once the split happened because holy shyt dude tore this track up something serious.
Most people dont realize that Michael Jackson wrote this joint for the Dangerous album but he let them have it as a favor to Teddy. Listen to it, it sounds like a Unbreakable cut.
