When whites who think like this see black people putting down black people, or pretty much any non-white putting down non-whites, it makes their negative feelings feel legit. This is why people like Candace and Sheriff Clarke are used as puppets. Some are self hating, but some are hustling for money without realizing how dangerous it is. Most white people are not dealing with non-whites on a personal basis.
There are parts of the country where they rarely encounter non-whites. So what they see in the media is what they believe. Then when other groups ask for more positive representation, the media says no. Then when we create our own media sources to put our own positive images out, they call THAT racist.
Oklahoma City didn't change anything

Sandy Hook didn't change anything
Aurora Colorado didn't change anything
Charleston didn't change anything
Las Vegas didn't change anything
So if those events aren't stopping cacs from introspection and stopping alt-right think and seditious behavior, what will?
Governments in most of the world cosign this behavior because many of the leaders are white and won't turn on their own....

What a lot of these people may not realize is that white people are really segregated from the rest of the populace at large. it's not unheard of in 2019 for a white person to grow up to adulthood and then having their first in-person black or {other minority} encounter. A significant number of them have personal interactions for the first time with other races in college, the ones who never went tend to hold even worse stereotypical views. meanwhile black people encounter other races especially whites before we can even speak. from Nurses, doctors, teachers to cashiers and law enforcement. the majority of white peoples "knowledge" of us is through media we don't even control.
