Why mention Candace Owens though? I don't like her either -- but how can a Black woman influence a White Supremacist to kill people.

Every alt right figure loves to talk about immigration in Europe and she has several tweets, especially about muslims.

Could this be an attempt to shift blame on her -- after the fact. A ploy? Why are people blaming her more than the White Supremacist.

Who's doing that? What ploy? If she influenced him why shouldn't she get blame.

I read the part of the manifesto where he mentioned Candace Owens and as much as I despise her, it looked like he was straight trolling. He talked about her being his #1 influence and how she was too extreme even for him. She has said shyt about Muslims but not all that much, not nearly enough to be the #1 motivator for a psycho killer like him. He also talked about wanted to inflame political divide between conservatives/liberals in America, I think he just knows that she's a divisive figure and was trying to start shyt.

All that being said, her response to the issue was pathetic.

He failed because he was alone. Even coming alone he still got that close. If multiple people had rushed they would have taken him down. Even solo people rushing have managed to take down gunmen in dozens of instances. In one school shooting I think something like 7 boys rushed the shooter at once, they were all boy scouts or some shyt, one of them got shot in the process but survived and they managed to take him down.

But most of the time everyone ducks and prays they wouldn't be the one shot, while bodies fall all around them. I get that that's human nature in such situations, but if you want to end a mass shooting you gotta ask for more. If I'm in that situation I'm not going to sit there cowering while people I love die like sitting ducks all around me, I'm charging him and if anyone else does too then we're taking him down and saving lives. I've prepared myself for that mentally long enough that I know I'll be ready if it ever comes.

People start blaming her without seeing how over-the-top it was, her defenders will come out and think they're justified and her attackers are ill-informed idiots, and it will just turn into another red vs. blue war.

Her and others like her should be attacked, but very specifically and directly for the clear, undeniable things that they've actually said. Ben Shapiro and all his loose talk about Muslims made him the #1 go-to guy for that Canadian mosque shooter, and he slipped out unscathed. That's some bullshyt.

Oh yeah, that gunman would've been taken down had it not been for fact that the guy was alone, especially since he was toting a rifle, which is garbage in close quarters compared to a knife even.
