Lloyd died because he was seen talking to some Cape Verdean looking dudes at Rumor. Hernandez thought Lloyd was trying to set him up.

It's not clear if Lloyd knew about Hernandez killing the two Cape Verdean dudes. But whatever Hernandez saw was enough for him to go outside and grab the burner from his car that night. The car was parked at The W valet. It's literally around the corner from Rumor (I've been to Rumor and that W so many times...).

Hernandez was so paranoid that he was literally ready to get into a shootout in front of Rumor if he had to. That's what PCP will do to you. But of course that didn't happen. And he ended up killing Lloyd the next night.

A bouncer at Rumor is the one who called police and let them know that the double murder and Lloyd's murder was connected. So that's where the belief comes from that Lloyd knew about the double murder, Hernandez saw him talking to CV dudes, and killed him because of it.

Plus Hernandez showed Lloyd the flop house and regretted it right after. There was no extortion involved. If he was trying to extort Hernandez do you think that nikka would have been dumb enough to get into that car that night?

Lloyd was from a part of Boston where nikkas don't slip like that. Rumor is that Hernandez kept talking about loyalty and trust on the ride to the industrial park. And that's what triggered Lloyd to text his sister.
Isn't Lloyd from the Caribbean?

Im not getting into the whole religious thing. I've forgave a lot people over the years but I'm not and would forgive someone that took the life of a family members or close friend. That's absurd.

You don't need to be religious about it, just think of it as being an example of Jesus giving some good advice. Dude is in jail forever, holding the hate in your heart for the rest of your life isn't really going to hurt him or do anything for the dead. For your own sake, learn to release the past and move on. Love works better than hate for anyone, religious or not.

Walpole is probably the worst prison in Massachusetts population wise. It used to be notorious back in the 80's as one of the most violent prisons in the country. I used to go visit family there.

The other prison murderers go to in Massachusetts is Souza. It's a Supermax so naturally they have better control over the population.

They'll probably keep him locked up in protective custody for the first few years but I'd imagine that they are going to release him to general population sooner or later.

The ironic thing about all of this is that to get to Walpole you take the exact same route as you would if you're going to Gillette Stadium. But instead of going straight on route 1 for 2 miles to get to Gillette you take a right.

Yeah Jay-Z mentioned when his uncle got murdered his dad would search the streets everyday for a long while looking for the killer. Holding on that hate sent him to the bottle and drugs which led to him lose his family and strain his relationship with his kids. Forgiveness isn't for the benefit of the person you're forgiving but for your own sanity.

So if you an old rich white man like Robert Durst...you can kill a man...chop his body up...throw his body in the river...sit in a court room and admit to all of this...and you killed this man WHILE BEING UNDER INVESTIGATION IN ANOTHER STATE FOR YOUR WIFES DISAPPEARENCE...and you get found not guilty:mjlol:

But if you a famous hispanic athlete...you can get charged with 1st degree murder and be sentenced to life in jail...without anyone giving a reasonable motive as to why you killed the person...while having no witnesses who saw you kill the person...and while having no actual murder weapon...:mjlol:

This dude going to prison for life because Odin Lloyd sent a text that said "NFL"...:mjlol::mjlol:

Wouldn't Odin Lloyd have just sent a text that said "Aaron Hernandez":dahellwhat:...was Odin Lloyd the Ridller or some shyt...:dahellwhat:

:comeon: You can't compare these two cases, the only similarity is they are rich and high profile.

The Durst case, the head was never found, so they could not without a reasonable doubt say how ol'boy died.

In this case, the defense admitted Hernandez was there at the shooting, plus tying in other evidence.

They even had a photo of ol'boy with the gun, that jury is not that stupid, to know what a gun looks like.

it's not realy about forgiving the other person as much as it is about forgiving them as a means of you letting go. Holding that grudge/hate will do more damage to you healthwise in the long run.

Who was the dude that was all over ESPN and Lebetard show saying there was no way Hernandez was going to get sentenced. Completely fukked me up when a second lawyer came on saying that the prosecution had clearly provded enough evidence to connect the dots and it was likely Hernandez would get sentenced. Made first dude sound like a clown at the time and now considering the verdict even more so.

Michael McCann was the one saying the prosecution did a poor job, Roger Cossack said the exact oppposite

The craziest thing is once the sun starts going down in the prison you can see the lights of Gillette Stadium from the Walpole yard.

But his time in Walpole will be spent on heavy lockdown. 23 hours in the cell.

He'll be transferred to the SuperMax in Shirley. It's practically a vacation there. I even here they have a football league in there with teams and everything.

He's much much less likely to get attacked in a Supermax. The technology and guard to prisoner ratio is crazy high.

Yep. All I heard is that Lloyd was seen talking to some dreaded light skinned dudes who looked Cape Verdean. And it's possible...Rumor Fridays were full of minorities of all backgrounds and Boston has a HEAVY Cape Verdean population (in the 100's of thousands).

So for whatever reason Hernandez thought he was about to be set up and went to the car to grab the burner. When in reality Lloyd was probably just talking to dudes he knows from around the way.

I was at Cure the night those 2 CV dudes were killed. I'm just glad I'm not the one who bumped into him. I didn't know the kids but my Mom knows their family. They were right off the boat. He probably gave Hernandez a nod and a smile thinking things were all good after spilling the drink.

One of the CV dudes who was killed paid a Rhode Island girl to marry him for a green card. At the visitations/wake all everyone kept talking about is how his green card wife got him killed. I'm pretty sure police even looked into that angle after they figured out these kids had no gang ties.
