It's poor form, but they're probably releasing stress after having their whole lives dominated by this trial for weeks. And 35 hours of deliberation the last week. The closure of being done with the whole thing is probably an endorphin high. And having been on two juries myself, getting everyone to agree in the end feels good.
Still, you gotta be stoic in that situation.
