My boy just revealed that he has paid $4700 for the new years event. While the company seems to have gotten wide press coverage, I'm seeing quite a few comments being left behind suggesting this is a well orchestrated scam.
People are complaining that they receive cancellation emails from the company mere days prior to the scheduled event, and are unable to get in touch with customer support or get their refunds after the fact.
On one hand, the logistics seem a bit flimsy when you try to think about the cost and revenue that they're generating from these events.
On the other hand, could this company seriously scam numerous people without large public outcry?
