I think Tesla and all of elons companies are being propped up as you said by institutions aka the government because they are doing work to directly compete with what they believe is our direct rival. I believe this is the case under both the democratic and republican governments. Their numbers do not make sense otherwise unless it’s being artificially held above water.

I think his companies are government programs basically with a private industry coating. They fukked up picking this maniac as the avatar for it though if this is true. Someone like Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos would have been a better sell. Not because they are more likable just more stable and under the radar.
