Most people don’t even really like the shyt. They are just following what they think is or might be a trend. Just like these fools that like songs because these non creative no talent having bytches like it.
I know it’s all opinions on what dope music is but people falling for the scam of fake streams and undercover street teams is the reason why we don’t get nearly as many classics today. It’s not about actual talent these days. But he got 745 million stream though!

Everything is inflated. Even the most successful artist shyt gonna be boosted if they on a major. It’s just business.
For instance, I got this one business im about to start, and my guy linked me with someone who sell IG pages. I’m not into all that shyt but dude supposed to be a pro with it, and got pages he can sell you with 25k followers. And he go and scrub the bots and something about a Philippine IP address. But my boy got one for his business and it helped him get rolling immediately. Typically I’m against fake shyt like this, but it’s literally a strategy for business so I’ll probably get one. It make sense numbers wise. Record labels no different. They corporations. If it make sense to inflate numbers, they gonna inflate numbers.

Maybe because bots can get more streams out of a 2 minute song than a 3 minute one in the same amount of time
