INVADING SOHH CHAMPION
im shocked if this is true- i gotta check that thug motivation dvd
jeezy did switch up his style after thug motivation 101- im confused
u sure youre not just fukkin around? bc who writes jeezy verses though? gibbs is the best lyrically in jeezy's camp but jeezy's verses dont sound like gibbs
im goin research this
jeezy was the dopest lyrically on tm 101- he was spittin on there- he does also make u feel his lyrics in ur heart- some real life shyt
oh yea no doubt- jeezy n shawty redd was a sick combo- they both helped each others careers
yup jeezy has a fire discography but im goin be real disappointed if i find out he doesnt even write his own shyt- only eazy-e gets the pass for not writing his on lyrics bc he was the godfather of gangsta rap imo
i hate mcs with ghostwriters- im goin research this for real
jeezy was never lyrical,..
jeezy is not an emcee.
i could not tell you who was penning his stuff.
as i did not even listen to other cte member extensively past the a&r listen to slick pulla, or dice raw. which means they could not hold my attention.
nor were they bringing any skill advancement to their respective genre.
jeezy is just an extreme case for me as a listener.
as he is one of the few voice over artist that lacks actual skills as an emcee.
that makes it in my personal listening past guilty pleasure or for reviews.
so i never categorize or rank him culturally.
yet his rep and discography sonically has earned him a time honored pass, from my indepth scrutiny.
also,...actually on paper jeezy's rhymes are better now.
yet on tm101,
the reason why he stood out better on those records is. lyrically they were written at a gear that logicallyvmade since for his skill level as a voice over performer to perform.
now, imo,...his more skilled gw submissions and work don't really grasp as well is because they are written out of the realm of his actual skill to spit.
also,...sonically jeezy only works over trap horror core score bigband beats.
when jeezy is over a hiphop break it is some of the worst shyt. as he is not a skiled emcee or rapper. so he gets exposed over those types of records. typically any sample style or more eastcoast break or instrumental jeezy is on. i personally go to the next record. as it is not an area he can get away frok my ear. so to keep from even dwelling in over scrutinizing him for that record and his lack of skill.
i just find more shawty redd records or records styled like that. as that is jeezy's main draw.
jeezy trying to be diverse over other sonic landscapes. other than his main draw also imo have dwindled his dra as well. as it has readily exposed him and opened him up for scrutiny as an artist. his draw can not bear the brunt of to continue to draw and be relevent.
in other words,...
jeezy over like verbal intercourse the instrumental,..i fast forward.
