The online portion is what people were clamoring for before GTA4 came out

then GTA4 came out, and it wasn't quite what people were expecting, then they perfected it with GTA5

If they'd have balls they'd make the next version a quasi-MMORPG only. Still have single player content, but it can only be played online.

I remember the outrage when online didn’t launch with 5 and got delayed. People were really more hyped for GTA Online than the actual game, i remember this vividly. I think even I was more hype for the online back then because of GTA 4 online

GTA V is the best sandbox game and one of the best games of all time ironically most elite gamers appreciate it the least because most of those brehs got a backlog of games and tryna be on to the next best thing.

for the casuals like me this game was a godsend.
