I wouldn't have a problem with a move like this in a division like Flyweight or Light Heavyweight where there aren't a lot of legitimate contenders. I'd even be fine with GSP cutting Maia in line at 170 considering he left as the champ. But Hendo and GSP getting shots at the belt ahead of Jacaré and Yoel is borderline criminal.

Not quite the same as WWE isn't a ppv business anymore the only reason they rely on 90s stars is because they can't build anyone not named cena for shyt but all that is self inflicted. Ufc is a ppv driven business and with the right fight they could do numbers. I don't even think this gsp/bisbing fight does more than 800k, it's so random and there isn't a demand for it
