Smilies are wack when you have to guess what it means like actually seeing the : ) or XD.

Having an actual face brings clarity to a message.
You can't compare a smiley in text form to a smiley image.

nah I know what the T/S talking about, using the smilies on here is a lil bit different. But when texting a nikka smilies should be nono. the shyt is mad gay. I was texting a nikka the other day telling him I was in his area and dis nikka was putting all kinds of smillies in his response like " Im not there right now" and "cya later ".
