Why he didn't even lay a finger on him? When I was a kid I used to get ass whoopings...ASS WHOOPINGS! I could feel the welts on my ass after words. This type of punishment is fine by me. It last a lot longer than an ass whooping. If e cant punish him by using a belt bc that's "child abuse" then what can he do? Talk to him? sure. Will that work? maybe not. Take away his Xbox and all that Humiliation will work just fine.

It's a public shaming that leads to a lifetime virtual footprint of humiliation, and it reeks of self-centeredness on the parents' parts. It might be corrective for the immediate behavior, but not the mindset of the child.
