Don’t trust Devin in big spots, but he should be back to usual regular season dominance soon with a big payday looming. He reminds me of another changeup closer who shat the bed in the big spots, Trevor Hoffman.

The more he talks about this the more obvious it is that he let boras talk him into leaving when it was pretty obvious to most people the best move from a baseball standpoint was to stay where he was. Not even being a homer, but he left a weaker division, a hitter friendly park, a league that doesn’t have the dodgers to deal with before the World Series, and as mentioned here the luxury of the best hitter on the planet being right behind you in the batting order.
